Granit Xhaka played an amazing season with Bayer's team and had an exceptional role there, which he had not had in any other team before. In this season, he played an average of 86 minutes in all tournaments and had an incredibly high number of assists, which in my eyes is solely based on his role in the German team. In previous seasons, even as captain of the Switzerland national team, he did not have such numbers.
