If the Poles were able to win anything in the past tournaments, it seems that the era of the good Polish generation is coming to an end, as the leaders have aged, as shown in the qualification round, where even teams like Moldova were able to defeat them. The Dutch confidently qualified for the championship, only losing to the French team. Another thing to note is that the Poles do not seem to perform well in the European Championship, as out of the last five tournaments, they failed to make it out of the group stage three times. And out of the last four confrontations between the two teams, the Dutch have won three times.
