It is difficult to find a team that would have demonstrated better form before this championship. Since Roberto Martinez took over as coach, Portugal has won 13 out of 15 matches, including all 10 matches in the qualification for the championship.
Portugal was the most productive team, scoring 36 goals in the qualification and conceding only twice. Their squad is very deep and there is a lot of talent, so I don't see anything else but a secured victory for Portugal by more than 1 goal against Peru.
