The Swiss will most likely play as the second number, as this strategy suits them well. The Italians will control the ball, giving the Swiss good opportunities to counterattack. If they manage to score the first goal, the Italians will have no choice but to go on the offensive, as shown in their match against the Croatians, where they excel in pressuring and creating chances.

I highly suspect that both teams will be playing defensively, especially Switzerland, as it was reported that they practiced penalty shots, which I believe means they are preparing to park the bus and wait for penalties. The Italians do not seem as strong in attack and it is questionable if they will break through the Swiss defense. It may depend on the success of the Swiss pendulums, or the outcome may not be as expected.
