Well, it was already seen both teams playing, so we can guess what awaits in the clash.
Germans at home started their championship with a smashing 5-1 win against Scotland. Scotland's goal shouldn't have counted, as Rudiger somehow managed to score an own goal, and the Germans weren't even trying to score 5, but Scotland's R.Porteous receiving a red card in the 44th minute changed the whole picture and ruined the guests' plan to lose with fewer goals.
The positives for the Germans were the combination play of Havertz, Wirtz and Musiala in attack. The ball moved fast and accurately, and all three finished with the highest ratings in the team - Havertz 8.3, Wirtz 8.4, and Musiala 9.4. Adding to that, the Germans left Sane and Fullkruk on the bench, who didn't ruin the video, and Fullkruk even scored the fourth German goal.
The Hungarian clash with the Swiss started off timidly, with the first half completely controlled by the Swiss. The Hungarians were afraid to send their overplay players forward, creating only 1 chance and conceding 2 goals. In the second half, the Hungarian team played more aggressively and attacked, pressuring the Swiss higher up the pitch, resulting in a goal. However, sacrificing their defense in the end led to conceding a third goal, but the essence is that while sitting in defense, the Hungarians won't achieve anything.
The poor performance and defensive mindset of Scotland might deceive many, regarding the German defense as impenetrable. But if the Hungarian team plays football as they know how, they can surprise with their attacking approach. One way or another, they have nothing to lose, as a loss here could essentially kick them out of the championship.
I expect goals, and the Hungarian attack is good enough to score at least once, but their defense just doesn't seem to be at the level to resist the tandem of Havertz, Wirtz, and Musiala.
My prediction is Germany 3-1 Hungary.
