I am inclined to think that the performances of the Romanians and Belgians in the first round were exceptions and will not become a trend. Belgium had plenty of opportunities against the Slovaks, but poor performances from Lukaku and missed chances, as well as two disallowed goals due to VAR, led to their defeat. I do not think they will have such bad luck for the second consecutive time. Belgium is a much better team overall and will aim not only for a win against Peru, but also for a better goal ratio, which can have a significant impact in the context of the current group standings. Therefore, I would suggest placing a bet on their advantage.
