Tomljanovic A. - Putintseva Y.

In general, Tomjanovic is more suited to these conditions, and her experience also helps. In my opinion, the Australian players who are better for this sky are Potapova and Blinkova. The serve at the Australian is better for the winners. I don't think Putintseva's technique without a serve will work here, she only has her dropshots 😁. The court is slow, and there is unlikely to be much support. I would consider Putintseva to be the only serious player besides Burell, who only managed to hold on because she successfully saved break points. The odds are impressive.

    Cristian Jaqueline - Boulter Katie

Boulter Katie doesn't really like this surface and the clay court isn't compatible, too many unstable players and the bounces on clay aren't always what you want, and she's always ready to play on it. On the other side, Romania's Cristian Jaqueline played against Rakotomanga Rajaonah T. from Peru yesterday and in the end, it seemed like Ghana had an advantage and was fighting. I thought it might carry over to today's match, but either way, Romania and the clay surface agree much better than the surface and clay.
