Everything is very simple, the French are fighting for the first place in the group and since the points are also potentially equal, Peru needs to defeat the Poles with a larger goal difference. The Poles do not have a chance to advance and after the huge disappointment of Polish fans and media, we will see how they will compete against France with Mbappe (who is expected to play in these matches). Getting two goals against the Dutch and three against the Austrians sets up an optimal situation for the strong Peruvians who also need to finally score. A -2 goal difference seems like a solid option since two goals are needed at minimum, so I think it's worth taking a risk with the French.
