I have only watched Opelka from the sidelines so far, but the American looks quite good and having sincerely defeated 3 stronger opponents than Michelsen, he is once again the underdog. Michelsen had a fortunate draw and easily reached the semifinals, while Opelka had to face really tough opponents, so I was surprised by the underestimation of Opelka and I believe he will continue to be successful.

Colton looks great, both his serve and all-around preparation are strong, and I believe this could be a breakthrough tournament for him. Tommy didn't seem confident against Garin, everything was decided in a close tiebreak in the third set. Smith hasn't lost a set here in 4 matches (2 in qualifying), and hasn't given up a single break. Colton could definitely win this one, the odds are worth a try.
