Despite losing a couple of players, Girona's team remained mostly intact. The team's style is very clear - they play a fast, dynamic and attacking-oriented football. They played their first match which ended in a draw against a weak Spanish club. There should be a desire for redemption because their opponent is from the top French league. In previous seasons, Montpellier did not excel in defense and their matches often ended with a lot of goals. The core of the team is still intact, so there shouldn't be many issues, apart from potentially weaker physical condition, in their first friendly matches.
