2024/08/01 08:55 Arconada (+4.5) @-127 8/10

ITF W Lexington, hard. Arconada is unnecessarily underrated here. At the peak, she was ranked 130th in the world, but then injuries started and in the last couple of years she has only played a few tournaments due to injuries. Now she is back with full motivation and showing great results. Last week, she narrowly lost to the tournament winner Ngounoue, and yesterday she defeated En Shuo Liang. Osuigwe, who used to be very promising, has now become a sporadic player. She is definitely not worth being such a favorite here. In short, Arconada is not to be underestimated.

    Brancaccio Nuria @135 8/10
    Cordenons 2 ITF, clay
Brancaccio Nuria has a better track record in the last month, with three finals on clay and also facing strong opponents such as Carle, In-Albon Y., and Bartunkova. She will also play in her home country of Italy, which will provide her with additional motivation to win against her opponent today, who she has previously lost to on clay in their last two matches.
On the other hand, Veronika Erjavec has had an easy run in this tournament so far, but her opponents have been weaker, with Zidansek withdrawing without a fight. However, Veronika Erjavec is not invincible as seen in her loss to Fett last month, followed by an easy win against P.Udvardy, who is not as strong of a player.

    Grabher Julia - Vandewinkel Hanne

    Grabher Julia (setais 2:0) @-109 8/10
    ITF Hechingen tournament, clay
Vandewinkel Hanne showed decent performance, however all three matches ended in three sets, so I think the Belgian player will have a significant advantage, especially considering their head-to-head record of 4:6; 1:6, which proves that Grabher is much stronger.
Grabher Julia has been dominating easily lately, as in the six sets played, only once her opponent was able to win four games, while in all other matches they only managed to win two or three games. What I admire about Grabher's game is her consistent pace throughout the match, great stability, and overall technical skills. Additionally, her motivation is boosted by the possibility of playing against her compatriot Kraus in the final of this tournament.
