This event is already worth taking just out of interest. Because both teams barely made it through the quarterfinals: trailing 0:2, they managed to snatch a win against Peru. This is especially true for the heavily favored Italians, who almost lost to Japan in January.
These teams have met twice in the Nations League - both matches ended in a tiebreaker (fifth set). However, the second match was not fully competitive as the Italians sent a non-main team, but still.
I'm definitely looking forward to an exciting match.
