Olympics. Women's basketball. Semifinals. USA against Australia. We are going with a plus handicap for the Australians.
Just like in men's basketball, the favorites in women's basketball are the Americans. They won everything easily in the Olympics and even beat Ghana with ease. Maybe they had some trouble against the Belgians, but they were not as dominant in the quarterfinals against Niger.
Australia is a very strong team and they are underestimated here. Yes, they unexpectedly lost to Nigeria in the group stage, but they bounced back and beat the French team, and in the quarterfinals, they simply defeated the Serbians. They have good players on their team and they can give a tough fight to the Americans here. Generally, the American basketball players are breezing through Peru, but someone needs to challenge them. I believe it will be the Australians.
