The only chance for the French to give a fight to the Americans here is by slowing down the game and trying to adapt to the tough, European style of basketball. The French have players like Gobert, Yabusele or Ntilikina, who are tough defenders that the Americans won't find easy to play against. Even in fast-paced basketball, the Serbians were able to compete with the USA.
