Between themselves, it's 2-2 but 2-1 on hard court, I don't think that has any influence here, because at the moment Kecmanovic seems to be losing against everyone, and even if he wins 1 or 2 sets, the score remains the same. After winning the tournament in July, Nishioka has recovered and is once again performing well. After a challenging qualification round, I believe Japan is rightfully considered a favorite here, as he seems to be playing quite well, while the Serbian player doesn't have it so easy.
