In the last season, even though they weren't able to beat Chelsea in the Premier League, I think that they still managed to win through some luck, getting a last minute penalty (talking about the 4-4 game). The team, manager, and players all have talent and experience leaning towards the side of City. Even though there was a big disappointment on City's side with Rodri, I still believe they have enough good players and should be enough for this game. In my opinion, Chelsea still has those periods of world class players who shone in the last season, but not much else. Also, I believe that someone like Haaland will be very motivated to win (maybe even try to score a goal) because of the Spanish Cucurella's trash talk about Haaland (talking after his Euro win).

Injuries do not allow the Liverpool team to perform well, and until the end of the season, the team is in a relatively calm position for next season's Champions League. The recent results and gameplay of the Liverpool team have been disappointing. In away games, the Liverpool team has tragically lost 5 out of the last 6 away matches, and they also lost to Wolves in March. Aston Villa has made it to the European League final and has a strong team, so they are the favorites for this home match.

I don't see a reason why we should trust and go with Villa. The Champions League group stage is easily reached by hand, and the only possible tension could arise if Manchester City, fighting for the title, loses to Bournemouth. Otherwise, the situation is calm and completely under control. We have already seen Villa play against Tottenham with what lineup they have, and there is no need to play with their strongest lineup today when the final is next week. Liverpool's season may not have gone well, but they have no finals to look forward to in Europe, whereas a win today would secure at least 4th place on the table.
