Our very own Gaubas is competing for the first time in the main draw of a major event in his career. Gaubas is a highly talented player and although his results on clay may be better, he is no stranger to hard courts. His opponent is of similar strength and is also a clay court specialist, making this the first tournament on hard courts since the beginning of the season. In my opinion, the chances are very equal and the fact that it's the first time representing Lithuania should add extra motivation. Therefore, I believe it is worth considering taking the odds for this match.
