Australia, FFA Cup. Another cup match between NPL and A-League clubs. Both teams promote attacking football and in a situation where the lower league club Excelsior is already finishing their season, while Perth Glory is still preparing, it somewhat evens things out. Yes, Glory are still clear favorites and should advance to the next stage, but I believe Moreton is capable of scoring at least one goal. Last season, Glory once again fell to the bottom of the A-League, their offense was not bad, but their defense was struggling. However, an interesting move was made by bringing in new coach Zdrilič, who is a fan of an attacking style and will hardly contribute much to their defense. At least in the early stages of the cup, he proved that it is possible to beat other A-League clubs with their offense, as they did against Roar (4-2) and Melbourne City (5-4 after extra time). The coach also brought in a group of young attacking talents, who are currently working well with the veterans and producing results. It remains to be seen if we can expect a different outcome today, playing against an NPL club. I believe the offense will once again dominate.
