The composition of Portugal is simply stunning, and the replacement of Ronaldo has definitely brought about a strong growth, while Croatian football has somewhat declined. This applies to both international tournaments and club football, and the career of Croatian flagship Modric will soon come to an end. I don't see much of a chance for the Croatians to compete on away matches in the first European nations match. Unless they find some sort of X factor in their composition and someone plays beyond their capabilities that evening. The last three meetings between the teams ended in overs.
