It's strange to see how Blancaneaux, after two decent seasons on hard courts where he had a positive record and won a periodt tournament, is playing very little on this surface this year. Hard indoor is exactly what seems to suit the Frenchman better. That's why the odds are high, as this will be Blancaneaux's first tournament after the clay season, and his opponent is exceptionally weak, who sometimes manages to qualify, but has no success on the challenger level. With Blancaneaux's ability to play high-level tennis, this looks like a very easy choice, especially considering his experience as a Frenchman.
