Lille can't say they didn't deserve to be here, having eliminated both Fenerbahce and Slavia Prague, the work done was strong. But they used to suffer on away matches, while performing much better at home. They had crushed PSG at home before facing Peru. But the real signs were shown in the weekend match, where they couldn't break through and beat St. Etienne, who had lost everything and couldn't even score a goal, away once again. With such low finishing rates, with only 4 shots on target out of 17 attempts, they don't look promising playing against Sporting, especially since they will most likely play as the second team. Sporting's start in Portugal has been amazing, with 5 wins and a 19-2 goal ratio. The team is on a roll. They even beat Porto 2-0 at home. Their foundation is currently perfect, with 7 consecutive matches with at least one goal, including both the national team and club games. Sporting has already scored 8 goals. And they have Trincao and Goncalves in great form by their side too. This trio has scored 15 goals out of 19. I believe Peru will have a tough time in Europe.
