It seems that the Wolves made some solid changes this season, including a change of coach, who will undoubtedly help the team achieve higher results. They have acquired two solid defenders, the grown-up Taylor and Thurman, as well as up-and-coming players Jogela and Kulboka, but the latter is currently injured, making for an intriguing lineup. The front line may be slightly weaker, which could give their opponents an opportunity to score points easily. The first official game was watched with great excitement and the team has the chance to play a fast offensive game, which I believe will be their key this season. As for the Turks, they also had a good summer, acquiring Ponitka and Jaleena Smith, both capable players. They also kept Cavanaugh, who is well-known to Žalgiris, and added young player Hazera from Fenerbahce, making for a strong paper lineup. Ponitka could be a force to be reckoned with, as he usually is with the Polish national team, where he does everything. In a game between two teams with so much offensive talent, the start of the season looks very promising and the home advantage should make for an easy race for points.
