The total score was interestingly high, as yesterday there were only 182 teams that met in friendly matches and scored 250 points after 2 overtimes, but the friendlies ended and the second round began. Melbourne was the third best defensive team in the league last year and defense is always the key in every season, but they sometimes like to involve themselves in races with other teams. Not much has been done in the summer, they acquired the defensive center Marcus Lee, who played a strong under in the finals. Phoenix went through a major transformation after a rough season, they acquired Australian star Sobey and also added a couple of serious Americans, but it's still early in the season and the total score is certainly not low, so I believe Melbourne should represent and be the underdog.
