Last season, the Namų team finished fifth in the regular season, with positive results overall. Therefore, the team has hardly changed between seasons, acquiring only one new player and losing almost none, as some veterans retired. The beginning of the season was very challenging, with two losses by a score of 0-5 against strong KAC and Bolzano clubs. The team struggled in defending and only managed an average of 20 shots per game. Meanwhile, the capital club, after a poor previous season, has undergone some changes, with investments in new players. Forward P. Krieger and defenseman W. Raskob joined from "Vitkovice," and forward E. Jasper from "Mountfield," while another Canadian, J. Gregoire, and other foreign players were acquired from "Ilves." So far, the team has one loss and one win. They play well in attack, as expected from Canadians, but struggle in defense while playing shorthanded. Therefore, based on the current roster and form, the capital representatives are the favorites in my opinion.
