In the first round, the teams appeared differently, as Mazeikiai managed to surprise with an interesting but successful game against Lietkabelis, while Siauliai were crushed by Zalgiris where a close match was expected. I believe that Siauliai are underrated as they have a strong lineup and should definitely win against a team like Mazeikiai. It takes time, but Mazeikiai played poorly and only good shooting and Sabeckis' three-pointers were able to keep them in the game. It is difficult to see how they would stand against fierce Siauliai, as I do not believe that Mazeikiai will have the same luck again.
