Alcaraz played 3 very difficult sets against Sinner in the final a few days ago, even though Sinner came into the final in poor form. Sinner played aggressively, making it a close call for Alcaraz to claim the title. History shows that after winning tournaments and especially tough finals, players can be sluggish in their first tour after a break. Shang is currently in great form, winning matches without dropping many sets – only giving up 3 sets in 7 matches against China. I am expecting a serious battle here.
