The Scots, with a new coach, are trying to play a much more active game, over-attacking, under-defending, trying to press their opponents early on, in other words, the federation is trying to change the direction in which their youth football went and make it, as they say, more modern; this is already evident in the friendly matches. Both the style of play and the matches have become more result-oriented. Just a couple of days ago, the teams played their first friendly, and the Scots won 2-1. Overall, it was an interesting match, quite lively, there could have been more goals, but the opportunities were not taken, and one of the Hungarian players suffered a serious injury in the 2nd minute, which led to the match being stopped for about 15-20 minutes, disrupting the flow of the game for both teams. Today, I hope to see a similar style of football, that is attacking and open, and if the finishing is on point, then a total of three goals can be achieved.
