2024/10/17 11:17 D. Evans (+3.5 games handicap) @-133 8/10

In the Almaty ATP, I am reacting more to the current situation. British player Evans seems to have found his stride in this tournament and is playing confidently, defeating several decent opponents. Tiafoe, as mentioned before, is a very serious tennis player, but only in America. His performance tends to decline in other places and he doesn't always handle pressure well. His unconventional decisions in the early stages of tournaments don't always pay off, and with this being Tiafoe's first match in Kazakhstan, I believe Evans has the potential to surprise.

    (Casper Ruud) @115 10/10
2-0 wins for Ruud and one of those matches was on hard court. This happened a long time ago, but Norway seems quite strong in this tournament and even though Khachanov is the most serious opponent now, he can still be confidently beaten. Karen himself had relatively weak opponents, but still dropped a set and overall the Russian doesn't seem very stable. So when Ruud catches a pretty good form, I think he has a chance to win.
