2024/10/17 11:17 D. Evans (+3.5 games handicap) @1.750 8/10

In the Almaty ATP, I am reacting more to the current situation. British player Evans seems to have found his stride in this tournament and is playing confidently, defeating several decent opponents. Tiafoe, as mentioned before, is a very serious tennis player, but only in America. His performance tends to decline in other places and he doesn't always handle pressure well. His unconventional decisions in the early stages of tournaments don't always pay off, and with this being Tiafoe's first match in Kazakhstan, I believe Evans has the potential to surprise.

    A. De Minaur (-4.5 game handicap) @1.660 8/10
    Antwerp ATP

Perhaps after a quite long Peru trip, De Minaur, who had a 3-set battle with Carballes, must dominate from the very beginning and handle Gaston, a tragic tennis player. Gaston has neither the strength nor the accuracy, he usually tries to just keep the ball in play, and when his serve is weak, it is very difficult for the Frenchman and the only thing that can beat a good day is to face a clay court player, but when facing a serious tennis player who plays confidently on hard court, Gaston capitulates. I don't believe it will be any different because De Minaur's feet are heated and he has to stun.

    A. De Minaur (-1.5 sets) @1.520 8/10
    Antwerp ATP

Perhaps returning from a quite long Peru trip, De Minaur had a 3-set battle with Carballes, but here against the tragic tennis player Gaston, he must dominate and take control from the beginning. Gaston lacks both strength and precision, usually simply trying to keep the ball in play, and when his serve is weak, it is very difficult for the Frenchman and the only thing he can do against a good day is to beat a clay court player, but when facing a serious tennis player who confidently plays on hard courts, Gaston surrenders. I don't believe it will be any different, as De Minaur's feet are all warmed up and he must run around.
