I would consider the Clippers as bigger favorites than given, especially at a 1.6 odds. After starting 6-21, the Clippers were able to balance out their record and have been among the best teams in the NBA for several months now, going 26-11 after that tragic start. Even after the trade for Harden and some key players, they continue to play well, with Mathurin fitting in perfectly, Garland returning from injury, and Kawhi playing at an MVP level. Minnesota may not be pushovers, but they lack stability and consistency. They had a fantastic five-game stretch and then lost two in a row to Orlando and the Lakers, and this season they often struggle with back-to-back games. The Clippers have had some significant losses, but even without Collins, they are 4-1 since his injury, including a convincing win against the Knicks at home. I believe the Clippers will win this game.
