The over/under total dropped significantly here due to the peak season games, but there is no logic for teams that did not have any major changes during the off-season to suddenly start scoring 10+ points higher than the previous season, when all games were mostly under. Chicago is difficult to predict and may struggle at times, but they won't stay at the bottom for long if their shots start falling. It makes sense that if a team's shots are falling, like with the Magic who have a strong defense, the total would increase. As I mentioned earlier, this unexpected drop in the total is hard to understand.
