In this season, Nikola takes on even more initiative as a points collector because Denver doesn't really have a go-to scorer since losing KCP in the summer. Jokic is averaging 31.2 points and has gone over 40 points in 3 consecutive games, including 2 where he scored 40+. Denver is struggling, and the league MVP is carrying the team while their main opponent, Minnesota, is waiting for them as they were the ones to eliminate Denver from the playoffs last year. Jokic is constantly outplaying Gobert, for example in his first MVP season (from 2020-2021), he averaged 29.7 points per regular season and 27.9 in the playoffs (28.9 last year). So, Rudy's defense doesn't really work against him, just like it didn't against Anthony Davis when they played last week. I believe Nikola could score 40 points again tonight.

    The playoffs have already begun and there is no excuse, the team GSW does not seek and does not have a back-to-back situation. Starting 5 with Podziemski and Moody is 13-0 while Curry and Butler together are 19-2. While the fight is on to avoid the play-in and possibly move up to 4th or even 3rd place, I am not expecting anything other than Warriors points tonight. Overall, GS is a higher level team for me than Denver, which I consider weak and poorly defending this year, and I do not see them as one of the top 3 teams in the conference, even though they are currently ranked 3rd in the standings.

    Jokic plays very consistently against the Warriors, he got a couple of days off and I would say that is a very favorable situation for his over. He is fighting for a good spot in the playoffs, the opponent is suitable for favorable matchups considering his skills with the ball, so I think he will score around 37 points today.
