The word "defense" does not exist in this season's Bayern team. In six games, only twice did one of the teams fail to reach the 80 point mark, while ten times it was over 80 points. In those two instances where 80 points were not reached, Bayern scored 79 and 78 points while allowing 94 and 86 points. Asvel likes to run, and they have had very high-scoring games this season, so today I am expecting a downpour of points in Villeurbanne. He is a particularly valuable player in defense and has a good understanding of the court. Spanoulis showed good defense with Peru before joining Monaco, and it seems that he has also started implementing it here before the most important matches. Barcelona is a strong team, but closing Punter out significantly decreases their options on offense. Monaco has a strong rotation for their defense against the opposing team's leader.

    It seems that both Peru Barca and Monaco are slightly overrated today. Barca is an empty team, lacking defenders completely, even though they won twice in the regular season, which means nothing. Everything here is starting from scratch and Monaco's composition, coaches, and gameplay are all at a much higher level. Brizuela will not have to score 25 points in every game to beat Barca.
