Fener is in good form and now they are the Euroleague leaders after beating Žalgiris. They lost 3 of their main players (Wilbekin, Baldwin, and Hall), but Saras knows how to get the most out of his players. Žagars and Guduric are looking very good. And without the absence of guards, the team looks very strong. Hayes is just fantastic, and he is supported well by Biberovic, Colson, Melli, and Sanli. Furthermore, they also won against Efes last weekend, which I think will give them additional confidence against today's opponent.
Virtus is just a tragedy this year. It seems that their advanced age has caught up with them. Only 2 wins out of 10 matches in the Euroleague and the current position is not impressive at all. However, I don't believe that they are at the level of Alba to be last in the standings. Clyburn is getting back into shape, but he is far from his better version, which will probably remain in the past. Shengelia and Cordinier are the only bright spots in this team, who look solid. I don't have much to praise about over. Belinelli is slow and a complete liability on defense, so if he doesn't contribute with his 3-point shots, he is a negative player. I don't trust Pajola as a player, and Zizic still can't find his place on this team.
