This year's Rockets team seems to be a playoff contender, as they were one of the most improved teams last year. They have taken another step forward this year. Their recent record of 10-5 includes a string of five wins in a row, and they had a chance to make it six, but unfortunately lost to the Bucks. They are strong at home, with a record of 5 wins and 4 losses, and a double-digit lead, which is better than their home record from last season. In the West, they have an overall record of 33-16. On the other hand, the Pacers have not been playing well after a good start to the season. They only seem to perform well at home. Haliburton is not playing at an All-Star level and they also have injuries to Nembhard, Jackson, and Nesmith, which has affected their rotation. As a result, they have struggled on the road with only 2 wins out of 8 games, and only one win since their opening game, with losses to Toronto, Charlotte, and New Orleans. Turner returning to the lineup will help, but it may not change the outcome. The Rockets are simply better at the moment and I believe they can easily defeat the Pacers.
