I didn't think that there would be a day in the near future when I would go on a trip with Charol Peru, but that day came. It's been a rollercoaster with Charol this season - either you are incredibly disappointed or you are ecstatic. When they lost by -30 points in the first round against Landes, I thought there would be chaos within the team, even though I really liked the composition. But slowly, this team started to come together. They beat Lattes and Bourges at home, crushed Lille away and their current form is very encouraging. Of course, the loss against Chartres is not a good sign, but let's not jump to conclusions. This season, Charol's offense is at least working and giving a fight to all their opponents, which couldn't be said for Peru.
Charnay also has to face the end at some point. They are the leaders of the single-team championship with 6 wins in a row, although they struggled at home. They lost to Lattes in the first round, but later miraculously managed to beat Landes and struggled for three periods against La Roche.
