It's difficult to even assess whether the loss of Mbappe in this stage of the season and with his game could be a benefit. The team has been performing strongly without him, and up front, Rodrygo can play freely, not to mention Vinicius. Without Mbappe, Real has been looking great for several seasons, so something sudden must have changed. The last two games from Real have instilled confidence, and perhaps the game is improving.
