The beginning of the Warriors season sparked high hopes, but since Melton's injury and the decline in performance from supporting players like Hield, everything began to look very problematic and the team now has a record of 15-14, despite being at the top of the standings at the beginning of the season. The Clippers have pleasantly surprised this season, sitting at 6th place in the West with a 17-13 record, even without Leonard playing in any games yet. They have also won 10 out of their past 12 games, including defeating the Warriors (even on the road). It will be challenging for the Golden State team to face this elite defensive team, especially following a tough loss, as they prepare to face the Clippers here.
