Qualification. Hard court. Hungarian Udvardy, with more experience, participated in strong tournaments and faced off against opponents in the top 100 ranking. 19-year-old Australian Ercan has less experience competing against high-level opponents and is currently only ranked WTA-343. Her game lacked in the end of last year. However, it is worth noting that Ercan likes fast, hard courts and will be playing at home, while Udvardy is more of a clay court player and plays on hard courts less frequently than on clay. Additionally, Peru is a much lower-ranked opponent on hard courts than on clay courts, so I hope that the Australian will bring a pleasant surprise and win by taking advantage of her handicaps.
