After a couple of unsuccessful tests against Sporting and Braga, Benfica bounced back by defeating the two teams back-to-back and claiming victory in the League Cup, as well as a 1-3 win over Farense before returning to the league. Their opponent Famalicao is an average team in the league, earning almost half of their points (9 out of 20) in the first 3 rounds, but only 11 out of 14 matches have resulted in actual wins. Benfica is known for dominating at home, winning 8 out of 9 matches in the league (with one loss to Braga) and an average of 3 goals scored and only 1 goal conceded. In their first meeting, Famalicao surprisingly won 2-0, but I believe this result will only serve as extra motivation for Benfica to come back stronger. I predict a 3-0 victory for Benfica.
