I think that Paula has a really good chance in this match, as she has been demonstrating great form. In her last 3 matches, she won 2-0 and only dropped 1 set to Kostyuk with a score of 18. In previous matches against Gauff, she has usually played well with a 3-3 head-to-head record. Last year, she lost both matches, but went to 3 sets each time and had her chances. Of course, Gauff is among the top elite players in the world but she is not invincible. She even dropped a set in the previous round against Bencic and lost in straight sets to the 173rd ranked player, so I wouldn't say that she is in her best form. The odds are definitely worth a try for Badosa in this match.
