Mumbai WTA. Qualification. Hard court. 19-year-old Croat Marcinko meets 32-year-old Serbian Krunic. Marcinko was a former junior world number one, making a strong entrance into women's tennis, although the past year was even more challenging for her. Even though she played on clay in Peru, she feels comfortable on hard court as well, as she recently won a lower level tournament on this surface. Krunic, on the other hand, has had tough past seasons and is currently ranked only WTA-300, although she spent a significant part of her career in the top 100. This is only her first tournament of the season. It should be a tough battle, but I am choosing the younger Marcinko to prove her talent against a more experienced opponent.

    Sun Lulu, 24 years old, shows fairly consistent results, with a strong main court surface and solidly defeating opponents of medium level. Her serve is not bad, she times the ball well and that should be enough, since I suspect there are quite a few mistakes on the Chinese player's part.
