Mumbai WTA. Qualification. Hard court. 25-year-old Japanese Yamaguchi is currently WTA 281, and 20-year-old Ibragimova is WTA-315, but both of their highest career rankings were at 275th place. Both are close to this ranking, but in terms of age, it seems significantly lower for the Russian who was also a 19-year-old juniors player. Although Yamaguchi has achieved quite a bit in her career, she mainly played in Asia where opponents are often weaker compared to European or American tournaments. However, Ibragimova's favorite surface is clay, while Yamaguchi prefers hard courts, so she might feel more comfortable on them. But overall, I think Ibragimova will have the advantage and I choose to bet on her with a +4.5 game handicap.
