Croatian player Lukas is more experienced, a typical clay player. Her opponent today is the young 16-year-old Russian Oktiabreva, who is ranked 17th in the juniors, but has already made a good debut in women's tournaments, winning a tournament in Peru in December. This is only her second tournament this year, reaching the semi-finals in the first one and losing to Friedsam. Oktiabreva will definitely be a strong player, but she can already beat players like Lukas today.
