Bergs, Zizou - Medvedev, Daniil

I think it's worth trying out Belga Peru here because the season has started really well, reaching the Final in Auckland, making it to the semifinals in Marseille and starting well here in Doha with a 2-0 win against Bautista. Medvedev is very weak in 2025, having lost three times already to players ranked 70 or below here in Doha. He almost lost in the first round to Khachanov, but managed to pull through. I believe Bergs' current form could really give Medvedev a tough match.

Last year's champion spent most of this season out due to a foot injury. They only returned in July and played against Duckworth, Etcheverry, and Bellucci. The player from Kienas is gradually returning and there is nothing better for Asians than to play in their own country. They will definitely have enough motivation to defend their points from last year. The only question mark is their physical form, but Junchenas mentioned before the tournament that they are fully prepared. I believe in the talent of the Chinese player and if there are no physical issues, I think they can easily take care of business here.
