Tirante T. A. - Martin Tiffon P.

2025/02/22 14:18 Tirante T. A. (2-0) @175 10/10

On the AO court, Tirante was hindered by Fonseca's presence, and then climbed on the ground where he also started unsuccessfully. It was quite surprising to see these dry defeats there, but he had to prepare in time. Overall, Tirante is a pretty good player, last year he had some success on clay, defeating Rublev. Martin also struggled on the hard court, not having much experience on clay, although he did have some success in Peru, but mostly in ITF tournaments. Although he performed well on hard courts in Tenerife, here I am trying for Tirante to win 2-0.

    Karen Khachanov - Casper Ruud

2-0 wins for Ruud and one of those matches was on hard court. This happened a long time ago, but Norway seems quite strong in this tournament and even though Khachanov is the most serious opponent now, he can still be confidently beaten. Karen himself had relatively weak opponents, but still dropped a set and overall the Russian doesn't seem very stable. So when Ruud catches a pretty good form, I think he has a chance to win.
