Indian Wells, the final qualifying round... the eighteen year old Clervie N. from America this year in juniors showed a good level, brought home a first place diploma from the periods, a growing girl at the junior level... but to jump to a thousand caliber event would be too bold and too early. Although she made it through the first qualifying round, let's just be grateful for that. She's a lovely little Brit! In the last round, on her favorite surface, I dare say she played at a higher level today. In the first round she defeated a tough opponent from Canada, proving that she deserves a spot in the tournament.
