The first round was somewhat surprising in terms of scoring and these matches don't seem like the ones that will change that trend. The Knights seemed like a team whose strength would be defense, but they had problems attacking. In the end, everything was the opposite - their offense against Suduva worked, scoring three goals, but their defense was very poor with many positional errors, lapses in marking opponents, and lack of communication, which is not surprising considering the team is still coming together. It's not surprising that even three goals weren't enough to secure points. I don't expect to see a significantly stronger performance against the champions, it could even be worse. On the other hand, Zalgiris is showing some improvement, with their offense looking good for the start of the season, creating opportunities and scoring. They just need a better finish. I believe that if they had done that a few more times against stronger opponents like Banga and Dziugas, they would have scored more goals against Riteriai's struggling defense. The bigger problem for Riteriai at the moment is their defense, which will have to work hard to keep their goal empty. Standards and counters are where Zalgiris could take advantage of Riteriai's still unsteady defense.
