Lazio were very disappointed in their recent match against Udinese in Italy, as even with a deficit in the second half, they not only failed to dictate the pace and put pressure on their opponents, but also allowed Udinese to appear as the better team. In such circumstances, teams in good form are able to put pressure on their opponents and create opportunities, but Lazio did not do either. Although Plzen may not be in top form, they played solidly at home against the Italians.
