The regular season champions "Lausanne" are struggling and have nowhere else to turn but to win, as they are currently trailing 1-3 in the series. Their opponent in the semi-finals is highly unfavorable, not allowing for much space to create and attack, something that "Lausanne" is known for and capable of. "Fribourg" manages to grab a goal with difficulty, but it comes at a high cost, as they are missing key forwards L. Wallmark and J. de la Rose, and also recently discovered that defenseman M. Streule will not be able to help them this season. On the other hand, the hosts are almost entirely healthy, with the exception of captain M. Raffl who missed the last game due to injury, but it is expected that he will return to the lineup today.
